Publishing Software Sales Manager – Hybrid – Madrid

Protecmedia is growing, and we are looking to hire a Publishing Software Sales Manager to join our team in Madrid!

We are looking for a hungry, dynamic, and proven result-driven Sales Manager who has previous experience in the publishing industry, as well as in software development. An ideal candidate should have a proficient level of English and be willing to travel across Europe and LATAM.

The successful candidate can be anywhere within commutable distance of our office in Madrid, working in a hybrid work model!

What your day will look like:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the publishing sector
  • Hunter mode: focusing only on new clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized solutions for clients
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients
  • Prospect and qualify leads through research, networking, and cold-calling
  • Conduct product demonstrations and negotiate contracts
  • Close deals and ensure successful onboarding of new clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries promptly
  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling

About You:

  • 4-5 years in B2B sales with a successful previous track record of hitting sales targets
  • Knowledge of publishing and newspaper software is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience working in software solutions for the publishing industry is a plus
  • The ideal candidate should thrive in a proactive, new, sales-focused environment
  • A bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and LATAM
  • Team player who is able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Fluent in Spanish is essential
  • At least a professional level of English is essential, with French or German being a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in Spain
