Software Sales Executive – DockMaster – Remote – Florida

DockMaster is looking to hire a highly motivated, driven Software Sales Executive to join our growing team in Florida!

DockMaster is a financial management platform for marine and marina businesses worldwide. Customers utilize DockMaster to manage their service jobs, inventories, sales, storage agreements and customer engagement. Our business is celebrating 40 years in the marina management space and we have a trusted enterprise solution as well as a modern web-based CRM.

We are searching for a driven and articulate Software Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to closing deals and exceeding quota. You will be instrumental in building relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how our marine/marina management solution can add value to their business. You will collaborate with our product and marketing teams to contribute to the organization's overall growth and success.

The successful candidate will be based anywhere in Florida, working in a remote work model!

What your day will look like:

  • Prospect and qualify leads through various channels (e.g., inbound leads, cold calling, networking)
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations
  • Deliver clear and compelling value propositions tailored to each customer's unique needs and pain points
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Manage and forecast your sales pipeline
  • Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted advisor
  • Track and report on key sales metrics

About You:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales (or related field) is essential
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas is essential
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into product solutions
  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
