Project Support Engineer – Hybrid – Hilversum

We are hiring at M&I Broadcast Services for a Project Support Engineer to join our growing team based in Hilversum!

The Project Support Engineer will become part of the Professional Services and Support team, providing support to customers Implementing and maintaining our solutions at customers.

M&I Broadcast Services is a leading international supplier of end-to-end automation systems and distribution solutions for broadcasters. We develop robust and easy-to-use software solutions that enable public and private radio and television stations to create content faster and deliver to more channels (e.g. FM, DAB+, App and Web). The successful candidate can be based anywhere within commutable distance of our office in Hilversum, working in a hybrid role from our office and from home!

What your day will look like:

  • Leading project management for customer projects: structuring/project planning, communication, coordination, and control
  • Implement and maintain our solutions at customers
  • Analyzing and structured descriptions of our customers' business processes
  • Provide technical responses to support issues reported via support tool or directly from customers, project engineers, etc
  • Manage customer expectations of response time and issue resolution
  • Troubleshoot and reproduce problems and define workarounds
  • Contributing own ideas and concepts for product development

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical discipline is highly advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex technical systems
  • Experience in software deployment and configuration, in accordance with system specifications
  • Experience in IT (network, servers administration, databases)
  • Broadcast (TV / Radio / web TV) experience will be a plus
  • Ability to provide detailed reporting but also summarize the Project Technical Status, anticipate risks, and escalate issues
  • Attention to detail, analytical, problem solving and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently, but also collaborate with a team
  • Self-learner, able to think outside the box
  • At least a professional level of Dutch and English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Legally authorized to work in the Netherlands
