Senior Support Consultant – Hybrid – Barcelona

We are hiring at T-Innova for a Senior Support Consultant to join our growing team in Spain!

We are looking to hire a Senior Support Consultant to join our growing professional services team in Barcelona. This position will include planning, execution and monitoring of start-up procedures and training on the software solutions marketed by the company in accordance with the guidelines of the Consulting Department in order to guarantee the correct operation and optimal adaptation of the applications to the needs of the clients and operational correctness of the users.

The successful candidate will live within commutable distance of our office in Barcelona, working in a hybrid work model!

What your day will look like:

  • Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the commissioning and training of the company's software solutions
  • Providing support to the Helpdesk, resolves advanced incidents, and presents technical solutions to customers
  • Work closely with other internal departments and liaise with customers and software companies in integration
  • Dealing with technical and management challenges and making important decisions in implementing solutions
  • Travelling across Spain to customer sites on a frequent basis and sometimes at short notice
  • Working in a hybrid work model from our office in Barcelona and from home
  • Building and nurturing long-term successful relationships with internal customers in the consulting department and with technical, commercial, and administrative departments
  • Building and nurturing long-term successful relationships with external customers and clients, enterprise software companies
  • This role will also include the following
  • Multiplicity of areas of technical knowledge required. (systems, communications, databases)
  • Knowledge of the company's broad portfolio of marketed solutions
  • Customization and adaptation of solutions to the client
  • Analysis and audit of customer service offerings review of requirements
  • Validation of system and network requirements
  • Database engine installation and security
  • Parameterization and configuration of the offer in the company's applications
  • Configuration of users, security policies and access to the server and the application
  • Installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals
  • Basic and advanced training in the use of the applications
  • Continuous training and retraining
  • Helpdesk support and advanced incident resolution
  • Presentation of technical solutions to customers and the market

About you:

  • Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal, is essential
  • A minimum of 2 years consulting experience and training in a Helpdesk department is essential
  • Qualification in Management Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Management or a similar discipline to at least a bachelor's degree level or above is essential
  • Technical knowledge in systems, networks and communications, SQL Server database Administration Servers, Windows Operating Systems, Servers 2008 onwards, Domains, IIS, Remote Desktop Management, User Policy and permissions, Microsoft Office, and Software applications is essential
  • Lifelong learning; Operating Systems, Systems and Networks, SQL Server, Software Applications
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented with an analytical mind
  • Great presentation skills
  • A professional level of English, both written and verbal, is highly desirable
  • The ability to travel across Spain to Customers sites on a regular basis is essential
  • Ambitious and high energy needed
  • Legally authorised to work in Spain
