Implementation Engineer – Remote – Germany

We are hiring at Aspire Software for an Implementation Engineer to join our Technical Projects team within our Professional Services growing function!

We seek a dynamic Implementation Engineer to join our Professional Services team. You will actively be involved with real customers and projects from day one. This position will suit an Implementation Engineer with at least five years’ experience in software delivery projects who is looking for a hands-on role working within a challenging and rewarding technical environment.

What your day will look like:

As part of our technical project teams, you will be involved in a wide variety of activities, including:

  • Implementation of customer reports (Excel/VBA/Macro) and responsible for implementing customer master data sheet (Excel) under the guidance of the project manager
  • Enhancing quality implementation processes and procedures
  • Responding to customer requests and incidents (including ticket management) with specialist knowledge in business management
  • Using excellent communication skills to keep internal and external users informed of status and progress
  • Meeting and exceeding client expectations and managing customer relations (DACH region)
  • Implement business reports, validation rule master and implementation master documents according to defined processes and procedures with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Create and adapt dealer account mapping files and further process the files
  • Manage BI and BM tickets through their lifecycle and give regular progress reports to the end user
  • Record and deal directly with BM-related user calls and queries using the local ticketing and support software
  • Liaise with internal and external customers about data quality improvement in a professional manner and according to relevant agreements
  • Support and maintain good relationships with other colleagues
  • Work to deadlines and respond in a flexible way to the changing demands of the department and the business
  • Ensure that service delivery performance degradation is picked up before the customer becomes aware
  • Enter BM and BI-related technical faults in the internal ticketing system
  • Support with QA and Testing of BM and BI-related tasks
  • Answering customer calls and emails in both German and English languages
  • Attend customer workshops to support Project Management and Account Management on specifications and requirements
  • Assist with project service delivery implementation and system handover support

About You:

  • At least a professional level of both German and English languages, both written and verbal, is essential
  • At least a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar discipline is essential
  • At least 5+ years of experience in software delivery projects is essential
  • Hands-on experience working within a challenging and rewarding technical environment
  • Business Financial Accounting knowledge and understanding
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Commitment and a desire to deliver services and solve issues in a quick and timely manner
  • Ability to prioritise work, good at planning ahead
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to manage a diverse and demanding portfolio of activities
  • Logical and systematic in the diagnosis in the problem management environment of the IT Support services, looking for trends and root cause analysis
  • The ability to support and maintain good relationships with all colleagues, providing a professional approach at all times
  • An excellent spoken manner with strong interpersonal skills at a range of operational levels
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate a directive accurately
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience or understanding of a business customer service environment and proven analytical ability in troubleshooting in a technical support environment
  • Legally authorised to work in Germany
