We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our footprint in the hospitality POS industry across Australia. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

What your day will look like:

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the hospitality POS industry
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to position our company as a preferred choice in the market

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Proactively identify and engage with potential clients through various channels
  • Create and manage a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities for business growth

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored POS solutions
  • Collaborate with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and forge strategic partnerships with key players in the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, cafes, and other relevant businesses
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that align with our business objectives

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

  • Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our POS solutions
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure a deep understanding of our products and their features

Sales Targets and Reporting:

  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, regularly tracking progress against goals
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports to the management team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or heavily experienced in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business development within the hospitality POS industry
  • Proven experience in business development within the hospitality POS industry or a related field
  • Strong understanding of POS solutions and technology in the context of the hospitality sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Australia
