For one of Aspire Software’s businesses, we’re seeking a Sales Account Executive.

Our subsidiary is an innovator public records management. With more than 135 years of experience, they are today's technology leader for recording, imaging, and searching land and court records, with over 300 active systems across 21 states. Our industry-leading research and development process, which includes significant customer involvement, drive new technologies and services for local governments by employing real-time information and workflow automation, data management and migration, professional services, Cloud Computing, and SaaS solutions.

About the Role: We are looking for an ambitious Sales Account Executive with a hunter mentality. The goal is to transform an established market by introducing innovative technology solutions to a well-defined target client. The ideal candidate will possess a winning mindset and the ability to distinguish themselves, their company, and their technology from the competition. To be successful, you must live within the assigned territory and have the capability to sell technology solutions—not simply take orders. Therefore, the right person must be a highly motivated, confident, and hard-working sales professional.

We're looking for a candidate living in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky who is willing to travel occasionally for work. The person can work from home and is not expected to come to the office. However, due to the nature of the job, you’ll have to travel quite often by car to different locations across the state.

Travel Requirements: Travel is considered a routine component of this position.

What your day will look like:

  • You will be hunting and closing sales opportunities while being the face of the company within your assigned territory. Account management and territory management will be your responsibility. Proven experience selling software solutions to government entities is a plus.
  • You will:
  • Be responsible for sales activities within the assigned territory, including prospecting, developing relationships, and creating, pursuing, and closing sales to new accounts. Increase revenue with existing customers through cross-sales.
  • Work with marketing, sales support, and management to establish a marketing communication plan for the assigned territory to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, closing sales professionally and effectively. Prepare sales and marketing proposals for customers on products and services. Actively participate in the coordination and facilitation of trade shows, user group meetings, and industry conventions.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations affecting the target market. Establish and maintain industry contacts to cultivate sales opportunities.
  • Participate in sales forecasting and planning. Research, develop, and maintain long and short-range sales goals within the assigned region. Produce regular sales planning and forecasting plans. Monitor, analyze, and communicate sales data to contribute to product/service planning. Maintain accurate records in the sales CRM regarding activity, pipeline development, and forecasting.
  • Provide problem resolution, ensure client satisfaction, and conduct sales follow-up.

About You:

  • You are passionate about sales and providing best-in-class solutions to your client base and you deliver results. You love new technology and have:
  • Proven success in prospecting, relationship building, and selling technical solutions and systems.
  • Broad knowledge and demonstrated experience in solutions-oriented selling with a consultancy value-added approach to specific industry and customer needs.
  • The ability to be creative in identifying and developing relationships with customers and potential customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and company staff. Proficiency in the Company’s products and services and the ability to communicate value to current and potential customers.
  • Strong proven track record of achieving results; excellent work ethic, and sales abilities.
  • Ability to formulate sales and marketing plans for the designated territory, region, or specific client needs.
  • Five-plus years of software/technology sales experience with a preference for a background in government sales.
  • Sales experience with ECM (enterprise content management)/document management systems; case management systems, and land records systems experience is a plus.
  • Commitment to excellence, integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
  • The ability to travel approximately 50%-75% on overnight stays.
