We are hiring at Aspire Software for a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) - Logistics B2B Software to join our growing team in Germany!

We are seeking an experienced and visionary chief revenue officer (CRO) - Logistics B2B Software. 

to join our executive team for the Transport and Logistics B2B software vertical. The CRO will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building and leading high-performance teams, and shaping our company's strategic direction. As a key member of the leadership team, you will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with other senior executives.

The successful candidate will be based anywhere within commutable distance of our office in Munich, working in an On-site work model!

What your day will look like:

Revenue Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives
  • Identify new revenue streams and go-to-market opportunities while optimizing existing ones
  • Lead pricing strategies, sales forecasting, and budget planning to meet revenue targets

Sales Leadership:

  • Build and manage a world-class sales organization, including sales teams, channels, and partners
  • Implement sales processes, methodologies, and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement within the sales teams

Customer Acquisition and Retention:

  • Drive customer acquisition efforts through effective marketing and sales initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback to improve products and services

Business Development:

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach
  • Negotiate and finalize high-impact deals, collaborations, and agreements
  • Explore potential mergers or acquisitions to support business growth

Analytics and Metrics:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and report on revenue performance
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and course corrections

Team Development:

  • Attract, mentor, and develop top talent within the revenue organization
  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation
  • Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other C-suite executives to ensure alignment and cross-functional synergy
  • Present revenue-related strategies, results, and recommendations to the board of directors and stakeholders

About you:

  • Proven track record of success in a similar leadership role, ideally as a CRO or VP of Sales, with a strong background in revenue generation
  • Deep understanding of the Transport and Logistics industry landscape, market trends, and competitive dynamics
  • Transport and Logistics B2B software market experience 
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a results-driven mindset.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in managing critical client relationships and navigating complex sales cycles

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the capability to thrive in an independent work environment
  • At least a professional level of German and English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Legally authorized to work in Germany
